The beekeeping project in Samai and Nataana is a transformative initiative empowering 100 group members (60 women and 40 youth) in two groups (Olee beekeeping group and Samai beekeeping group). The project aims at fostering economic growth, and promoting environmental sustainability. By providing beekeeping training and equipment, the project empowers participants to establish sustainable livelihoods. Beekeeping offers numerous benefits, including income generation from honey and beeswax, improved pollination for crops, and environmental conservation. The project not only empowers individuals but also strengthens communities through knowledge sharing, skill development, and collective action.
