Healthy & Secure Infants
Mt. Kilimanjaro Child Development Programme has the welfare of the children at heart. The programme works hard to ensure children aged between 0-5 years receive medical care to tame diseases like polio and measles. This is achieved through medical camps organized in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the County Government of Kajiado. This program also uses the medical camps to educate care givers on proper nutrition for the children to enhance growth and development. In addition, the program facilitates training of secondary care givers (ECDE Teachers) to equip them with skills necessary for raising young children.

Educated & Confident Children
At Mt. Kilimanjaro Child Development Programme, we value education. We believe education can transform a society for better. The program invests in projects that enhance the quality of education by ensuring children access schools easily. For instance, M.K.C.D.P has been resourceful in constructing classrooms in schools that did not have enough learning space. The program has also supplied desks for students to learn in a comfortable environment. The program offers the children a platform to engage in positive relationships with peers and adults. The ultimate goal is to have the children participate actively in family and community activities i order to become responsible adults.

Skilled & Involved Youth
Under this category, the main focus is on youth empowerment through various lifeskills. Youth aged between 15-24 years are engaged in civic activities. The youth are also trained on various skills to empower them into job market as well as entreprenual skills. The youth are in lifeskill topics such as sexual and reproductive health as well as leadership and community roles.
